GADSDEN, AL (WBRC)- Two teenage suspects have been arrested in connection to a shooting that injured a Gadsden man on Monday.
Police say a masked gunman knocked on the door of a home on Grant Avenue and shot the person who answered. The victim, 20-year-old Tavarius Perkins, suffered a gunshot wound to his cheek but his injury was not life-threatening. Police said the suspect fired once, then fled the scene.
Detectives arrested a 17-year-old male and an 18-year-old female on Tuesday, the day after the shooting. Police are not releasing the name of the male suspect since he is a juvenile, but say he is being held on a $75,000 cash bond in the Etowah County Jail.
The female suspect, identified as Ciara Nicole Collins, is being held on a $20,000 bond. Both suspects have been charged with attempted murder.
